A source close to Ewell has confirmed to MMAFIGHTBET.COM that Ewell must undergo a 10 day quarantine per the ufc's covid protocol. After receiving a false positive reading on a covid test. Ewell who has produced two back to back negative tests to disclaim the false positive, will not be able to compete this weekend because of that 10 day hold  Ewell is evidently primed and ready to go and will make the most of the situation is what we are being told.  It happens in this day and age, but the fighter is ready for whenever the UFC will allow him to compete.   You can't help but think, at this point should we not have a safe guard in place for this fighters that spend considerable time and money training and traveling. We know that these tests for covid have popped off positive from samples of oranges and tap water...etc.. So unfortunate....
